Burial Hill History Tour Series – The Old Colony Club and Revolutionary Plymouth

The Old Colony Club and Revolutionary Plymouth
with Stephen O’Neill

Plymouth’s Old Colony Club was founded in 1769 to celebrate the anniversary of the Mayflower Pilgrims landing at Plymouth, Forefathers Day. Its members were divided into Patriots and Loyalists in the years just before the Revolution. This tour is the story of the Club, its members, and their lives in Revolutionary Plymouth and beyond.

The Plymouth Antiquarian Society and Pilgrim Hall Museum partner in a free public tour series of Plymouth’s historic Burial Hill.
Each first Saturday of the month, a thematic tour of the ancient burying ground will reveal facets of Plymouth’s evolving story over generations. See map of Burial Hill area here. Please plan to wear comfortable walking shoes, as terrain may be uneven. In the event of inclement weather, please check our Facebook page  for cancellation/postponement info.
