Known for history paintings of the Mayflower Pilgrims and the Wampanoag people, the collection includes a range of visual arts related to early Plymouth and the history of the town over time.  Most of the Museum’s historical paintings are permanently displayed salon-style in the original 1824 Main Hall Gallery.
