Published in cooperation with the General
Society of Mayflower Descendants |
|
47
single-sided pages, punched and packaged in shrink-wrap with
its own 3-ring binder.
Cost: $10 |
|
| Students
will learn how
the laws of supply and demand affected the early American
colonial economy as they follow the process from raw
materials (beaver skins) to the finished goods (expensive English-made beaver
hats) with activities such as brainstorming on economic
issues, discussing readings from 17th century authors,
creating skits, writing short essays, solving math problems
and designing their own currency. |
|
| All the activities, plus the additional enrichment
and challenge exercises, are based on primary sources of 17th
century Plymouth Colony. |
