THOUGHT QUESTIONS
1. A Pilgrim family invites you into their house. Does it look like your own house? How are they dressed? What will they give you to eat?

2. Now pretend that you are a Native American. You know only a few words in English. How would you show a Pilgrim you want to be friends?

3. Imagine that you are sailing to the New World on this ship, the Mayflower. What are your feelings? Are you afraid, seasick? Are you warm and comfortable, do you have good hot food to eat? Do you like the roll of the ocean, the color of the sky, and the feel of the wind?

4. If you could write a postcard to your friends back home, what would you say?
